Your Perfect Fit

Your Perfect Fit

At Icon Suit, we understand that there’s more to fit and comfort than a handful of measurements. Your build, proportions, and posture all contribute to how clothing rests on your frame and moves with your body. Get your perfect fit in 4 convenient steps.

Step One

We have a number of starting point pieces for you to try on. These are our “baseline” fits and allow us to get a basic set of measurements before the magic happens. We will help you find the closest baseline fit for you, and then we begin the nitty gritty of our expert custom suit fitting process.

Step One

Step Two

Once the general fit is a match, we will work with you to make larger adjustments to suit your body type and build so that it fits just right in all the right places. Major modifications generally happen on the shoulders, sides, and arms.

Step Two

Step Three

Minor adjustments come next, and these are the fine-tuning points that really make your outfit sing. By the time we’ve completed steps two and three, we will have adjusted your fit in approximately 70 points to ensure that the fit is one of a kind and perfectly suited for not only the way your body is built but also the way you naturally hold your body.

Step Three

Step Four

After we make all the adjustments, it’s time to pick out all the details. From lining options to button choices, monogramming and more, this is where we put the personal touches that will make it without-a-doubt yours.

Step Four

At Icon

At Icon, the way we take your measurements is a step above the rest. There are fancy computers that measure hundreds of points in just minutes, but what they miss are the things we pay special attention to – how those measurements translate into a true fit for your body and your movement.

Everybody holds their body a little differently, moves a little differently, and those are the things that a mathematical measurement can’t entirely account for. We’ve taken the time to learn the real art of the measurement. We take the traditional measurements, but we go a step further, and suggest final tweaks and adjustments that will not only make your custom clothing fit and look better but feel better, too.
